I am using an unofficial port of PACMAN (for the T989, T-mobile Samsung Galaxy S II) and it works nearly flawlessly. The only problem I am seeing is that when gapps-jb-20130301-signed, I get frequent signal 11 (seg fault) errors in google play, google music and aptoide. If I restart the app 2 to 5 times, it usually stays running then, but I was wondering if this sounds like a GAPPS issue (and thus I should try a different version) or something else? When I was reading through the logs, it sounds like a bug in the version of CM being used with the dalvik heap, but I am not sure if it is how the latest GAPPS handles the dalvik heap or if it is something more ROM specific that I would need to dig deeper into? I have tried changing kernels and it made no difference.

depending on the response I see on this forum will determine what my next step with this is.

Thanks for your time.

EDIT: updating from 22.1.0 to 22.1.1 fixed the issues I was having. Rom is now 100% functional from what I can tell and no RR's, FC's or SOD's. Loving your guys work.
Tempted to try installing LBE privacy guard again, but last time I did that on a 4.2.2 ROM, I was stuck in a bootloop (which is apparently a known problem with that app).

Thanks for the inverted gapps I will check them out.

Quick question, what's contained in the fix download?

The link has been taken down

link seems good to me. Although what exactly it is fixing I am not sure. I do not know a lot about how these things work, but if I am reading things right, it is a fix for SetupWizard.apk? the updater-script deletes SetupWizard.apk from /system/app and I THINK the binary file included in there is for libbzip2, but I easily could be wrong.

Slim (AIO) Gapps works exceptionally well with PAC ROM, and so does the Go Dark option on them.

I flashed the gapps linked on the PACman thread on xda, but I have encountered a few errors with systemui and gapps force closing. Apparently Tyler is to blame.

Do I need to install a different version of gapps?

Also (slightly related), will it screw anything up to install Chelpus's cracked Play Store with PACman?

It's not a miracle if you need it.

I use the latest PA (ParanoidAndroid) gapps with PAC 4.3 on my Xperia Tablet Z. No problems.
Make sure the gapps are for the version of Android you are using.
Phone : Nexus 4 (16GB) with  PA KK ROM, Franco Kernel
Tablet : Xperia Tablet Z (311, 16GB WiFi only) PAC 4.4 based ROM
